Abstract

Industrial Relations or Employment Relations grow out of employment. There are two parties in the employment relations- Labor and Management. Both the parties need to work in a spirit of co-operation, adjustment for their mutual interest. However, good Industrial Relations are one of the preconditions for a pleasant industrial environment. That environment will only be possible when a democratic industrial environment prevails in the industrial park. The industrially developed countries of the world are maintaining a good industrial democracy which will be the lesson for the underdeveloped and developing countries. The objectives of this study are to chalk out the salient good industrial features of some developed countries, which will act as a lesson for underdeveloped and developing countries like Bangladesh.
