Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

Conference paper on Engineering Research and Editorials (CERE) welcomes the submission of original and significant contributions concerning any branch of Engeneering.

Submissions are accepted through the online submission system or send the paper to journalpubservice@gmail.com.

This advice is for authors intending to submit a manuscript to CERE. Before submitting an article to CERE, please ensure you have read and understood the Aims and Scope of the journal and that you have attended to the formatting of your manuscript as detailed below. Submissions that do not comply will not be considered. The journal does not charge fees for the submission of an article.

Registration

In order to submit an article to CERE, you need to first register as an Author. When registering you need to explicitly tick the "Author" box or you will only be registered as a Reader and you will not see the "New Submission" option when you login.

Originality and length

The usual length of an CERE article is between 6000 and 10000 words, including abstract, figures, tables and references, but occasionally lengths outside this range are accepted. Submissions to CERE should be unpublished and not under consideration by another journal or for conference proceedings. Please note that it is your responsibility to confirm with any relevant conditions in your institution's research management procedures, for example, ethics committee approvals.

Formatting your manuscript prior to submission:

1. Language

  • Papers can be written in English..

2. Title

  • Title should be concise and informative.

  • If the manuscript is in a language other than English, It should include an English version of the title.

  • Try to avoid abbreviations, special characters, math and formulae where possible.

3. Author’s names and affiliations

  • The submitted article should include the name(s) and the affiliation(s) of the author(s).

  • Please:

    • Indicate the given name and family name clearly.

    • Present the authors' affiliation addresses (where the actual work was done) below the names.

    • Provide the full postal address of each affiliation, including the country name, and, if available, the e-mail address of each author.

4. Corresponding author

  • Clearly indicate who is willing to handle correspondence at all stages of refereeing, publication and also post-publication.

5. Abstract

  • Each manuscript must include an abstract in English of approximately 200-250 words.

  • It should be concise and factual.

  • It should have a structured form.

  • The abstract should state briefly the purpose of the research, the principal results and major conclusions.

  • An abstract is often presented separate from the article, so it must be able to stand alone.

  • References should be avoided in the abstract.

  • Do not use abbreviations, special characters, math and formulae in your abstract.

6. Keywords

  • Immediately after the abstract, provide a maximum of 8 keywords, avoiding general and plural terms and multiple concepts (avoid, for example, 'and', 'of').

  • Try to provide at least 5 keywords.

  • Key words should not repeat the title of the manuscript.

7. Subdivision of the article

  • Divide your article into clearly defined and numbered sections.

  • Subsections should be numbered 1, 2. (then 1.1, 1.1.1, 1.1.2), 1.2, etc.

  • The abstract is not included in section numbering.

  • Research works should be divided into background, material and methods, results, discussion, conclusions, references.

Acknowledgment

Manuscripts are to be submitted in English, using spelling and punctuation as per the Oxford English Dictionary. In-text citations and references need to conform to the latest edition of the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (APA style manual). Examples can be found on the APA site (http://www.apastyle.org/).

Please note: Unlike APA style, for references to journal articles CERE requires volume and issue numbers. If no DOI has been assigned to an article,CERE requires the URL of the cited article on the journal publisher site.
